I was reading about L'Or Du Sillage. Like the sound of that. Where can I get samples?

Finally trying Malibu, like the lime performance but smells a bit like burnt dust after an hour or so on me (like turning on a radiator that hasn’t been used for ages). Nice, but not worth the price increase over Eden’s VIW, might give the Alexandria one a go.

^^ Could you send me a link too please mate?

Hadn’t bought any scent since the late 90s but smelt a sample of Amber by the Laboratory and had to buy some. Interested to discover more now. Especially Aventus (think that’s what it’s called) which apparently smells like Amber but lasts longer …not sure I’d spend that sort of money without smelling first though.

Also, was thinking of a perfume sample subscription for the missus. Any suggestions?

Dior homme parfum always been a winner for me - compliments all the time and lasts well on my skin.

CDG man 2 lasts about a week - Killer longevity

Gonna try Malibu LFC and Ismvil

Dior Homme is a very nice, as is CDG2; I own both.
I also have a couple of the Margiela Replica ones, as does the Mrs; can’t go wrong with them.
Next purchase will be Coccobello and maybe Chanel Coromandel

Just tried Paradise. It is certainly interesting. I can get the Vanilla and Coconut Milk with some fruitiness. The "Caribbean Wood' to me I am getting almost a burnt rubber feel from. Will give it a while and see how it settles.

On first impressions I definitely prefer Malibu but they are both interesting, not something I would usually go for but definitely opening me up to be more adventurous than I have been! I need a full bottle of Malibu next

I found it settles better than it opens in my opinion but I like the opening still. My Mrs wore it today and it smells amazing on her.

I wore it for my night shift and the next night 12 hours later my work mate could still smell it in the chair I’d been sat in.

Dry down is a better, stronger, TF Soleil Blanc to my nose.

Got a very decent Summer rotation now Cool

DHI and DHP are top 5 all time for me. If they don’t drop panties, nothing will.

Aventus is known as the king but it’s very overpriced given how much inconsistencies there are in the batches and how many decent clones are around. After you’ve sampled, try Eden’s version, I have that one and if you prefer the fruitier side to smokey it’s bang on for me.

Haven’t smelled either of those but I had Gorse for a while (another VIW clone) - decent for the money.

Think I’ve mentioned this one before for VIW/Malibu lovers.

Really good summer fragrance and long lasting.

Even though it’s dollar pricing they are based in the UK so no customs to worry about. They sell sample packs as well.
