Just bought Prada Man today. Thought I'd take a chance on it. The woman gave my a DKNY bag and some samples for Paul Smith man and Diesel only the brave, both of which I've never had the pleasure of trying before. She was nice.

I bought CDG2 yesterday after having a smell in store.
As with all other comments - great, as a unisex scent it's more feminine than anything else I've had in the past, but it doesn't really bother me. Most of the other fragrances I was looking at seemed far too overpowering and smelt like old sofas.

Got a sample of Humiecki & Graef's Askew the other day. Smells lovely, but 90 quid a bottle (100ml) and that's with discount.

I'm all about cdg 2 now, but has anyone had the two Monocle scents, worth a look / schniff?

Cheers. So Dior Homme, when you say 'better' do you mean totally indpendent of the CDG, a different smell altogether, or a better version of the same kind of smell? If you get what I mean.

cdg2 will never ever be beaten, but the monocles are just a bit of a gimmick imo, if you want another smell that is as different, strong and peacocky as cdg 2 then just go for dior homme, safe bet that just works on crumpet.

As cool as I am, I am still yet to try it. But one can assume that, based on my dietary based inferrence of the probable scent of Monocle: Hinoki, that I would fucking dominate.
