Guerlain Vetiver is a weird one. You basically have to put up with smelling like a BO/soap combination until it passes, then the dry down is awesome. Creed Vetiver is so much better, nothing but good comments about that

My top few:

Creed Original Vetiver
Dior Homme Eau Noire - perfect for winter, nice and spicy. Lasts forever too
Thierry Mugler Cologne - amazing in summer, basically Original Vetiver Lite
Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte
Creed Virgin Island Water - Smell it anywhere in spring/summer temperatures and you'll either buy it or want to drink it (rum/cocunut/mandarin/lime amongst other things)

Cool Water and Acqua Di Gio will always be great cos they were the 1st I owned. Same with Emporio Armani Night.

Ive got so many frags on me Christmas wish list , half being Guerlain champs de lyse exclusives Roll Eyes And all around the 200 Euro a bottle price mark

Agree with Creed being top quality gubbins but serious mega wedge , raelly like Original Santal. Love the Mugler Cologne top notes but hate the dry down , way to synthetic household cleaner IMO

Deffo check out the Serge Lutens and Perfumerie Generale lines at Les Senteurs , lovely stuff

I wear Mugler Cologne basically because I can't afford to buy Creed Vetiver as much as I'd like. However, if you check on ebgay you should be able to get most 120ml Creeds for around 65-70 which is

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Creed-perfume-millesime-Original-Santal-30ml-RRP-59_W0QQitemZ320317869600QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Health_Beauty_Fragrances_Men_s_Fragrances_Aftershave_PP?hash=item320317869600&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Bargain if you only want a small bottle.

I'd buy more, but you can only wear one at a time and I don't like to see them get wasted. Got plenty of older ones that have a third left but they've gone off now.

My last purchase is Clinique - Happy, and I loves it! Quite a sweet/fresh smell, but not very wintery

The problem with Creed is their take on inflation.

They seem to add 10% every year to their prices. I bought some Original Vetiver almost exactly 4 years ago at £75 in Liberty (75ml bottle), but the same ones costs £105 now. Ridiculous. They're even worse than Reiss.

I've never bought any Creed off Ebay but my brother has bought a couple and they've both been legit. Luck of the draw I guess. Its not too widely spread on ebay, a few different sellers stocking the lot so I think I could buy with reasonable confidence.
