Could be alright:
Intruders
9pm, BBC2
This BBC America co-production pivots on a toweringly high-concept set-up (part The X-Files, part The Da Vinci Code) where the secret of immortality is known to a shadowy society. John Simm plays a grizzled ex-cop from LA living in the Pacific north-west, who, when his wife (Mira Sorvino) goes missing, finds himself hurled into a mysterious, murky world. There are signs, symbols, suicides, creepy kids and a man in black with blood on his hands, all shot with a muted Scandi-esque colour palette giving this a look of permanent twilight. Intriguing. Ben Arnold

Thought that Intruders was a bit pants tbh. Highly confusing.
The Missing, BBC1 tonight 9pm
New series. A family holiday to France ends in tragedy when a couple's five-year-old son is abducted, and although a large manhunt is launched, headed up by one of the country's finest detectives, it seems the odds of finding the youngster are against them. Eight years later, when the fallout has driven the couple apart, the father returns to the original scene to continue the search for his son. He has a shred of new evidence - but will the original lead detective be willing to take up the case again?
