All along i was hoping it wasnt Cohle, but now i think it doesnt matter and will be more interesting if it is. Think it might ruin it if there are too many plot twists right at the end.

Spoilers below for anyone that hasn't seen all 5 episodes yet.

Cohle might have been the one to find all the leads and evidence but I think that is down to him being a good detective. The one that seems to be trying to steer the case in his own direction is Marty. He always doubts Cohle's leads until it is impossible not to anymore. And he puts a bullet through Ledoux's head.

Chance it could get shit if the big reveal is that its Marty, unless done well, but he has pushed the interviewers towards Cohle, his Daughter is fucked up - maybe she knows, and the shooting incident. Also the contrast between them in the interviews, and him being a family man etc. seem to be setting it up for the twist.

Ive loved every minute of it, but feel like im waiting for it to get shit. Quite happy with it bumbling along without "clever" plot twists.

Theme tune is perfect as well.

Just binged all of house of cards in a couple of weeks, loved it.

What's the best finished TV series I probably haven't heard of? Seen the wire, breaking bad, sopranos etc.
