Weidman was gone but think he wanted to give him a chance cos he knew the bell was so close.

Are you kidding, that was crazy how he didn't stop it. It went on for far too long. Herb is great ref but he was wrong in this case. I do understand what you mean, but he was doing nothing.

I agree with that, he did look sluggish. Think he underestimated rockhold

Weidman definitely should've been stopped in the third - he was just taking elbows and punches for 2-3 minutes. Rockhold was quality but Weidman seemed to let him take control the whole fight - was weird.

McGregor caught a great dig - Looking forward to seeing Edgar take him on. Unless Aldo fights Edgar and the winner fights McGregor at UFC200?

Quality weekend of fighting anyways - even if the hype fight was a big 'letdown'.

Currently sat awaiting delayed flight back from Vegas, some weekend…..atmosphere was crazy when he dropped him, felt like a dream. Just tons of stunned people leaving the arena in disbelief

Bring on Cowboy, they could sell the shit out of that

I didn't even see the punch. At least the Rockhold/Weidman fight was a proper brawl. His face looked mashed up. Hope he fights Aldo again maybe for UFC 200

the punch is almost impossible to see if you watch it in real time.

Agreed, it was a counter helped by the speed of which Jose was charging, even felt myself in the crowd I'd missed it.

Great read and his point with regards to McGregor moving weights is very good. UFC are in a sticky situation with how to handle McGregor's next move IMO.

Lawler Condit was quality last night. Round 5 was too good.

A lot of brilliant undercard fights aswell - was a great night of fighting.

Just finished watching it now and came in to post about that 5th roundCool

Thought Condit had it, gutted for him.

Stipe is a beast, can't wait to see him fight Werdum or Cain

What makes you think he'll retire, has he said something?
I had Condit winning 1, 3 and 4, 2 was close even though he got knocked down!

I even think Lawler thought Condit had won the way he said about having the rematch. Hope he doesn't retire, love his style of fighting.

Yeah the instant rematch gesture by Lawler gave that reaction. Lawlers corner told him at the end of the 3rd that he needed two massive rounds. I was surprised Condit didn't get the decision but Lawler is a better fighter to advertise for the UFC.

Word is going about that Condit will return as that's his 'shot out the window' but i'd most definitely be pushing a re-match fight. Would be a great fight to have near the start of UFC 200.

Stipe is good but Werdum/Valasquez are both a class above IMO. His KO punches were pretty impressive none the less.

He's spoken about it publicly and also mentioned or alluded to it in the post fight press conference

like Condit busy fighter thought he had (and wanted him to) win it! technically and combo wise one of the best in UFC always looking at 3-4 combo and like how much he uses his legs / knees

was a good fight!

Roll on March 5th! It's going to be very interesting to say the least. Looking forward to the first press conference, whenever that may be. If RDA can keep Conor out of his head he'll be the favourite for me.
