Well off with this^

I'll watch it of course but it doesn't hold all that much interest for me as I can't see it going much differently to the first fight in terms of the result.

Mcgregor wanted this fight and as usual Dana gives his cash cow what he wants. Would rather have seen RDA V Mcgregor.

RDA would destroy him, I'd rather see him fight Edger, I think McGregor mcgregor would beat him but it would be a good fight. This is a must win now for him, but I really can't see him beating Nate, he destroyed him on no camp!

LFC - You can't predict the UFC now as they don't abide by logic at all. Just go after the $ and bow down to McGregor.

McGregor at 170 just makes no sense - Kavanagh told him not to fight Diaz, and if he was to fight him then to do so at 155. if he loses he can blame the weight not suiting him, so it's not that risky.

Edgar is getting ripped - Why he has to go to Aldo is a joke. Another champion not depending a title in a year/year and a half and they'd be told to vacate - But since it's Conor Roll Eyes

Lawler v Condit 2 better get announced or this will be a let down of a card for me.

Year and a half? He defended the belt 4 months ago; Aldo has gone 9 months in between defending the belt. Edgar is the fight and I agree with you but other champions have 'held the belt hostage' before, fair enough with injury or whatever but for the fans and contenders the result is the same.

I dont even think its the UFC fully pandering to Conor, its just the UFC money machine. Edgar isnt a money fight, Aldo rematch could have been if he didnt get smoked in 13 whatever seconds, and no casual MMA fan would even recognize RDA in the street. The Diaz rematch is pointless but its the money fight, partly because so many fucking retarded, been-following-the-sport-for-five-minutes twats now think Nate Diaz is the Champion. Had some new cunt at work ask me what I thought about Hannah Holmes, and was convinced Nate Diaz is Vegan and wouldnt fucking drop it.

The UFC is now about pandering to the casual facebook fan not the hardcore fans. Fighters shouldnt have to but these days if you want the fight you have to be able to hype it and market yourself. If I were Frankie I'd take a bat to one of Conors Bentleys while roasting him and put it on Worldstar, watch that fight you want get announced within a week. A criminal damage charge is worth it to make 1-2 million dollars.

Actually i think Nick and Nate are both Vegan or at least Vegetarian, anyway i agree with the sentiment that the UFC is just the money machine which i think is of overall detriment to the sport. If Conor gets beat down again, then what? he goes back to 145 has a very tough match up with Edgar (hopefully) and has a very real chance of losing that. That's the UFC cash cow down the pan, i think ultimately it's bad management of Conor by the UFC.

They're both vegetarian, or Nate is anyway. He eats fish IIRC.

He won it back in December and the Diaz fight isn't until July so he wont defend the belt until near the end of the year at the earliest.

Difference with Conor is that he's getting away with dodging out of a simply should-be title match with Edgar to go and fight Diaz - It's bollocks by the UFC. Other fighters hold it due to injury etc. but that's just part of the game, dodgy fights isn't.

Still gutted DC pulled out of the fight with bones - OSP will be an easy demolition Roll Eyes

He's getting away with it simply because, as CV said, Diaz v mcgregor 2 is a more hyped fight and will bring in more revenue that together with it being ufc 200 is reason enough to forget formalities and arrange fights that "people" (the Conor bandwagon clueless twats) want to see.
