I fully agree with what Rogan said after the fight, that he HAS to fight Jon Jones.

Agreed. GSP would work though

Dana will make it happen, after the fight he said…
“I know he’s been saying ‘no,’” said White, “but, for the amount of money that would be offered for that fight, I guarantee you I will make Anderson Silva say ‘yes.’”

Silva will have a harder time cutting weight as he gets older, he'll transition into a natural light heavyweight. A fight with GSP doesn't make a ton of sense. While it would be a great fight, it wouldn't possibly be for a title, it'd be a 3 round catchweight fight, fans want to see five rounds. Jones has recently proven himself not to be a man of the company, Silva has. I wouldn't be surprised if Dana is stoking the fire and talking anderson into a huge payday against Jones. I think Silva cements his legacy more by beating Jones than GSP, and it's a more realistic matchup in terms of size and weight. Machida drops down to middleweight, GSP continues to dominate at welterweight and doesn't move up a weight class. Ultimately, I think its more probable that Silva ends up fighting Jones, there are a lot of people who want to see Jones get his ass kicked, and Silva is the guy to do it. I also think Silva vs Jones would sell better, but GSP does bring Canada's entire economy with him.

Jones can beat Silva and Silva knows that, that's why he doesn't want to fight him imo. Right now, AS is the best of all time, he's nearing retirement, does he need to do anymore to cement his legacy? I don't think he does. Why fight a guy from the next generation of fighters and risk your legacy? Does he need the money they're going to throw at him? I dunno….
I'd love to see it but I can understand why AS is asking for GSP instead. People have talked about silva/gsp for a long time.

isn't the silva gsp fight all but confirmed? silva has called out gsp and at the 154 ticket conference gsp stated he was happy for the catchweight bout as fighting at 185 would mean he felt he would have to move up to that division.
timing makes sense too, still no clearcut title contender in either division also (assuming gsp beats condit).

No ones beating Jones until he moves up to HW.

I want Machida to beat Jones, or Gustaffson .
