Surely him "balling around" wearing the caps and jerseys etc is all just mass-marketing by him, getting his fans and wannabes to buy the merchandise and push up the value of his share, no?

Doesn't make it any less embarrassing that he puts himself forward as the face of the Nets, having people believe he's the main owner of the team/brand when he only owns a tiny fraction of it.

You do know how hard it is to make money from American Sports franchises?
It's not worth him owning anymore. Someone with $450m personal wealth could acquire a business worth $380m in a matter of minutes, without even putting a penny of that $450m into it.
