Can someone/anyone check if they have any of the 'waffle crew neck long sleeve t-shirts' in store left in preferably black XL. They are all sold out online.
Bought a black one recently and it's becoming a staple basic for me would really like to pick up about 5 more for winter. Would be massively thankful if someone could pick up a few for me if there are any about.
Actually, how does the stock at Uniqlo actually work, is the in-store stock entirely different to the online stock or is it collectively recorded?

websites got different stock to the stores, separate entity. separate stock levels.as for the stock in the stores, the store manager makes orders based on their own/area managers judgment. basically they restock whichever's gonna make them the dough to impress the higher ups. which often ends up in the stores just getting random shit, 3 times a week, that's sold well. sometimes they order things to fit lay-outs on tables/shelves(so it looks good)
also, the manufacturing side of it is pretty odd too. they tend to make random amounts of stock. so one item will be just 5 pieces in-store and will never come back but others endless stock. a lot of the time, the good items are limited and never come back. but also there will be times where they'll restock an item months later when they thought they'd never get it back in(i find this is when someone in the store stockroom/warehouse finds a random box that got lost).
staff can stock check every store in london really easily so if you're wondering about certain stock just give any store a call and they'll be able to tell you everything. my honest advice would be to call see if they have it, if they don't ask for a supervisor and they should be able to tell you if/when they know it's coming back into stock. they can see like the next maybe 3 deliveries coming too.
new releases thurs and sun, sale markdowns wednesday, every week, all year round.

Seems mad that they'd have such a hodge podge approach to stock management
it's a little bit more sophisticated in structure obviously, but that's the bare bones of it. also in theory you will look at it as hodge podge but mostly the people who get pissed off with the stock structure are fuker type people who want specific items at specific times(mostly when they've been instore/online for time). that's a minority, they seem to do pretty well other than that. it's really fast paced fashion akin to h&m so things come and go in a flash. Cunts me off having to go to three different Uniqlos to find the size you want.
More often than not, one store will have like 10 mediums and nothing else and the other stores only have the other sizes. Madness.
as i said just phone any store, you'll get to the bottom of it in a couple of minutes.
