Cheers just ordered!

I went to Uniqlo yesterday as I was down in the big Smoke with work.

I ended up buying a sweatshirt, lambs wool round neck jumper, oxford shirt, flannel shirt, fleece, heat tech tee and long johns and some gloves. I also tried on loads of the jackets.

I've read bad things on here about the oxfords but it seemed pretty decent when I tried it on. Fit wise it seemed good. The two jumpers also fit well. They don't feel as substantial as more expensive gear but for the price they are excellent imo.

Obviously I need to wear and wash the items to see how they go but my initial impression is good.

It makes me question why I would drop coin on more expensive basics in the future when Uniqlo do them pretty well.

Annoyingly the centre also had an Arket but I only noticed that when it was closed.

I haven't bought anything from Uniqlo in a while and really impressed by the fit of their flannels and the heattech stuff seems great for the money. I'm happy to use it for basics, but then I find I only spend big on jackets and denim these days. Longsleeves from Wings + Horns aside (though they're not that expensive).

You go to uniqlo for their basics tbh. Sweatshirts, underwears, their LS stuff, heat tech etc.

Currently looking to get this one though

Anyone have any thoughts on the down jackets?

Looking for some insulating pieces for layering under a hard shell.

The ultra light down jackets are amazing for layering. Super light and warm.

Hoodies aren't that great this season, rather thin and floppy.

Arket hoodies are great and can pick them up in the sale

Also picked up couple of casual draw string trousers from Westfield uniqlo yesterday. Super comfortable and excellent fit, plus the black denim selvedge which they took the legs up in 30mins and a knitted t-shirt….

the Uniqlo U tees are decent, apart from the slightly long sleeves. Might ask at the till if they can do alterations on the sleeve next time i'm in lol.
