Menswear: UNIQLO Thread
I see no longer offering free returns after 1 March. Wonder what their returns rate is?
Why have you decided to change your returns policy?
Our mission is to deliver LifeWear products to all of our customers and to continue to provide good value for money. In line with this, we are also aiming to redefine sustainability, meaning UNIQLO would like to influence a positive change inviting everyone to move away from the current cycle of purchasing and returning, and be more conscious of the impact such a cycle is having on our environment. To support this, we have introduced several new tools such as 'My Size Assist' and 'StyleHint', to enable customers to make a more informed decision when choosing our products. Should you still decide to change your mind, we would also like to remind you that you can exchange your goods at any UNIQLO store within the country of purchase.
This will be a challenge for all, but if we achieve our end goal which is to reduce returns overall, we will succeed in becoming more sustainable.

The Uniqlo returns system is an absolute pile of shit anyway.
Have a look at their Trust Pilot rating
I returned a jacket in October and their courier lost it, has taken until now to get them to say they will refund and even then it will take 15days, this seems not untypical for them as is missing items not in parcels.

have also had Uniqlo returns lost with Hermes but strangely never with any other retailer. clearly from everyone's experience their returns process needed an overhaul of some kind. not bad marketing to rebrand it as 'sustainable'.
edit: mind you, I definitely return to Uniqlo more than anywhere else. so could just be a numbers game. Either way: Hermes are wank.

Other times they have been fine.
That does seem to be their MO, make it so time consuming to get a refund that people give up.
However I did finally get my refund today!

New undercover range at Gu (other company owned by Fast retail) looks good, like the look of the faux leather jacket.
