Haven't used for a while but I'd say yes. They have just expanded their california warehouse.

Has anyone ever used shipito? Need something proxied from the US as on Ebay there is a massive shipping and import fee.

Used it once. They won't allow mark downs, so you would need to ask the seller to undervalue the parcel being sent. Also, ask them to repack the item as they will just send it how it was sent to you. Think MrP/Matches parcels full of paper etc and they just leave that in the box and put that in another plain box and charge for a greater weight and size as a result.

Can anyone in the US help me out with an Alden (pre)order. About 8 weeks from now ‘till delivery. I’ll order and package will be delivered to your door in the US. Then I’ll need the package forwarded to me in the UK at cost. Box etc. can be ditched and a customs friendly amount declared.

Anyone who can help will be able to use me as a UK>USA proxy whenever required….

Drop me a PM.

Cheers.

Anyone able to proxy from Germany (German eBay to be precise).

Or can anyone recommend a commercial proxy who can offer that service?

Cheers

Has anyone noticed DHL charges jumping up for US orders?

£26 shipping is a lot but bearable, but then it jumps to £50 under duties & taxes option.

I think the fee under standard shipping is a lot less, not sure why anyone would use the duties included option now?

When DHL pays Duty and VAT on your behalf, an Advance Payment or Disbursement charge will be added to your Duty and VAT statement/invoice for clearing the shipment through customs.

The charge is currently £11.00 or 2.5% of the total Duty and/or VAT incurred, whichever is the greater.
