just got an order sent to Shipito's Oregon warehouse. value about 330 USD. will mark down customs declaration etc. but just wondering if anyone knows what chances are there that UK customs will bust it open and slam a fee on it? would it be a wise idea to get Shipito to cut the tags off, or does this make no difference?

my American sister in law had her family gifts slashed open by UK customs over Christmas, hence the caution.

Shipito can remove invoices when they resend your stuff, they only charge a few $ to do this

Yeah Shipito is the one. Never had any bother with them. Just takes a while unless you want to spend A LOT to get it sooner

They let you fill in the customs declaration yourself.

They can also combine separate shipments, repackage items, etc. They do anything you want

i also want to cop a couple of t-shirts but am getting charged $40 shipping and i bet I'll get fucked on import… if anyone is going over and coming back or can do a decent proxy that would be cool
