rawhide in camden but they finished it off badly on the first repair. I took it back and asked them to trim some of the webbing from areas that I don't use and tidy the edge up as it had glue on, suede edges were cut wonky and the stitching was all untidy. They didn't listen to me for the second time and taped over rather than under, got glue on it again and the stitched it where I didn't want it stitching and it's still a bit untidy but I've given up on it now, no going back. As good as is going to get. Came up trumps on the suede but I wouldn't recommend their work, no attention to detail at all. Cost about £50 in total.

visvim could have put it back to how it was but was 150 plus shipping both ways and probably a very long time and chances are it would have gone wrong again. I wont buy another with these straps.

I've seen the repair solution for these packs, its not worth sending away for, vis repairs in general are not, its better to put down to experience and move on like you have

on a more positive not my S13 bits came in this week, linen kilgore as I remember in showroom is the stand out,its so good. Kano 101 is great too, not so sure on the kano noragi for me personally if anyone is interested I could be tempted to part

How old is it?
You would expect Visvim to last longer, or if they're aking something more fragile to have a pretty decent repair scheme, £150 plus shipping seems like a pisstake.

was only 6 months old, griped about it a while back but came via conceptshop who are not an authorised dealer so I had to pay. do like these bags but the construction on the straps just aint good enough. The ballistics look the better option.

@Dee 59 cm pit to pit / 78cm neck to hem.
That's a medium paclite nez nomad.

I'm 5"10 / 12 stone if the wind blows the right way and I breathe in.

Worm with a shirt and a bit of cashmere ( st michel bien sir) it fits lovely.
Not too snug but not baggy either.

hope that helps.

All you have to do is buy a GJ, then you're allowed to sell.

Its a rule. You then make a classifieds ad in the classifieds section.

Dee, I almost bought that backpack. I remember it being a pretty good deal at the time from CS. It's still a beautiful bag even with the repairs. I just purchased the 22l version of yours. I love the red dirt color. I'm hoping I won't have a similar issue.

Perhaps a good alternative to the kilgore: http://www.hartfordstore.fr/men-collection/jackets-and-coats.html#/18984

Looks like Stevie had a go at the stitching, I would be seething at that level of workmanship.
