I dont have that model Virgil but my Newell folk have that sole… its, probably not as comfortable as the other virgil soles (on the kngr) version but good none the less.

Surely the new vibram sole is chunkier than the old custom (vibram?) sole? For comparison my old pair on the old sole, had the same sole on my kngr, the one with quality issues and visvim print on the bottom vs the new vibram branded sole. Diff angle I know but new sole must be a bit chunkier, no? Or am I imagining things?

I suppose the heel and gradient looks a little thicker on those. It looks like the midsole could be made of 2 layers with that thin line running along them

edit - they do look proper chunky here

do like them though

I actually think they're the best version of the suede virgil. Don't have pics i'm afraid but the shape of the toebox is slightly wider than normal virgils as well.

^^ khaki one looks great - still not sold on the indigo, gonna be hard for pale whitey to make it look good - as opposed to an asian bredder.

Khaki looks ordinary/Roy Cropper especially for a £500 jacket, Indigo by far best colour. Will work on a honky just fine imo.
Btw the most popular and sold out colour is the mousey brown one apparently.

Some interior shot Laughing out loud detail looks great
