Some might find this funny, but…

I was wondering if anyone here has used Visvim Hikers for actual hiking purpose? I'm going for a week trip to Swedish Lapland next week, and was wondering if I should wear my hikers there.

I'm expecting a somewhat rocky terrain, some rocky trails and some sort of tundra with small twigs etc. I'm hoping for dry weather, but it could as well rain for the whole week.

I think the soles on my Serras should be good for the terrain. The boots getting wet and drying might be an issue, but I think very few boots can stay dry in a week of rain and/or damp weather.

At least this rucoi dude on Instagram seems to be using his hikers for their original purpose. Anyone else? Opinions?

I would not use them, I wearmy grizzly boots for walking the dogs when I'm on the coast, they hold up fine for 10 mile walks etc in dry or wet, but if I was going on a proper trip I would buy modern kit, a gore tex boot so you know that it wont let you down and you can enjoy your trip

I agree with seenmy, Vis is first and foremost a fashion label. Get something much more suitable and save your vis from getting ruined

Pretty sure it's a size up job as they're quite short in the body apparently

I have a herringbone long rider and for me it fits loose compared to the Oxfords I have from Vis.
