No random acknowledgement of jackets yet though or other more expensive gear i have by vis, just one of their cheapest products.
I do wonder, could a vis wearer not know about or frequent these types of forums? Should have said something to him Lee, might have been another member.
so so so so so many kids at st martins/lcf wearing vis that i know for a fact aren't on here.

Hey just checkedd your blog, kudos man, really wicked stuff, I feel you might be the right person to offer some solid advice. I'm thinking about starting a fashion blog. It will feature some carefully selected info i've picked up on the net about products from wwm, quoddys, gitman, visvim and the likes. I will probably also post some cool vintage pictures of Steve McQueen, Paul Newman and JFK and some cool b/w stuff from the LIFE archives. I'm also thinking pics of expensive vintage rolex watches from antiquorum and a couple of carefully selected pics from the ralph lauren webshop will fit in with the general aesthetic? I'm toying with the idea (once the blog is well established) to have a special "feature" or "think piece" section where I write personal reflections on stuff that I'm really into like madras shorts, the take ivy book and j crew chambray shirts to share my passion for these pieces with the world. Anyway that stuff is just a definitive maybe in the pipeline for future development as I suspect it will take some effort to write. What are your spontations thoughts, do you think an enthusiast blog like mine would have any audience/chance to succeed in the current web climate when theres sooooo much good stuff out there?

Any thoughts on the subject would be most valuable
thanks

forgot to add, I'm also thinking a repost of my favourite pic from the sartorialist like once a week might work, I know this is already being done by one or two blogs but I mean what's the big deal, it's not like everybody checks the sartorialist, right.

Lol just got to page three of you blog. I see you also write you blog "endorses" stuff you dig, like you write in third person or your blog was an actual company. I was gonna do that exact thing too, I hope you don't think I'm biting your blog lol, no hard feelings I hope.

Seriously, this is getting a bit spooky, you also do "looks" posts where you arrange selected stock pics of clothing in photoshop to create a "look". I was gonna do exactly that too! Only I was gonna place the pics on a black and white photo from LIFE magazine to really create that special americana mood so I guess I 1-up'ed you on that one lol.
