There is a big quality difference between McCoys and Vis. Not justifying the prices but I have a lot of both and there really is no comparison when you look at the details of material and finishing on Vis.
Think the Seven 15% code has finished.

Calling bullshit on that don't think there is that much delta in quality. McCoys is very well made.
I would state that the treatments (washes/materials) that Vis produce do differ significantly which creates an entirely different product and therefore shouldn't be compared to McCoys.

McCoys is not as well made as it used to be. Comparing my McCoys fishtail to my Vis and there is a big difference in manufacture. I'm not saying that McCoys is shite but the comparison between the two brands is negligible.

So you are saying the quality comparison is small not big

Too early for this shit. My bad. I meant that it is pointless comparing the brands.

Depending on the product it would be hard to compare. RMs Shinki jackets compared with Vis' leather pieces.
The production techniques after is where it starts to differ, as people said with dyes etc. Also, as a more straight forward repro brand, RM does basics very well, much better than Buzz IMO. Himel Bros jacket is another thing entirely though!

I've said it before and I'll say it again it is still such a shame that no one has risen up to take on vis early remit of classics with a tech twist. Especially now they're not even working with gore-tex any more!

Dyeing things in mud: I sleep
Making an m65 in gore-tex and putting leather straps on it for no reason: real shit
