Winter weight navy chinos. I look everywhere for decent heavy slimish fit chinos at this time every year and never seem to find anything. I'm looking for something similar to incotex but for well under that price range, but with similar details like the v cut and chunky tailoring around the waist.
Seen a few pairs that Ralph have done in the past in a moleskine but not my size, and a few by some generic European brands.
Any help?

I bought a pair of navy heavyweight Carhartt chinos a few years ago that were a carrot fit and slim-ish on me, might be worth looking to see what they're doing these days.

Mmm gat in 43. Had the paint splatter ones a while back, regretted getting em over the regular ones. The paint was a little too much for my taste

Paint splatters are one of my guilty pleasures. Nearly pulled the trigger so many times but do not pass pub test by 1m miles.

Personally I still rate Carhartt Club Pants; plenty of colours and, albeit a bit more expensive than those Arket ones, 100% cotton.
Have heard good things about Norse ones, but have never tried them on personally

Got a job at an investment bank, have to buy a bunch of business gear I.e. trousers and shirts (luckily don’t have to wear a full suit)… not really my thing at all so any recommendations for stores or brands?

Can you get away with Oxford and chinos or do you have to wear a tie?
Smart trousers and dress shirt/tie look a bit shit unless it's part of a suit.

I Don’t have to wear a tie: not sure if chinos are smart enough, I’m guessing they’re not unfortunately

NN07 have got plenty of nice formal pants, smarter than chinos but still comfortable. can get them for around half retail if you nose around too.
