Lupe Fiasco pulls of the gold one nicely.

Go for the Roley. Don't rate the Panerai at all.

Yum…

Panerai's are so much more timeless to rolex's - my panerai is number 1016 out of 2500 made this year compared to rolex's 30 odd thousand.

Oh and mob, my gf has the gold casio Laughing out loud

Anyone give me any watch suggestions. Im looking for something pretty smart but that I could wear everyday. Leather strap I think, made by a big name in the watch making game, Rolex?, really don't have many other specifications.

Hardly the most practical of suggestions.
I find it a bit odd that someone with one of those on their 'hit list' would be spending time telling people about it on a fashion forum? Still, it would look good on the wrist while filling up the Aston…

What's the budget?
What functions do you want?
Diver style/classic?
Roman/arabic numerals?
Round/Square/oval

Give us a clue!

The tag carrera is a nice watch and looks good with leather strap, the monaco's nice aswell. I dont know if rolex do watches with leather straps that dont look like old mens watchs but i may be wrong.

Henry that panerai is fucking amazing.

Heck it'd look good on the wrist washing the car. As far as practicality goes, it's probably one of the most unobtrusive and understated watches out there and suited to all occasions IMO. The guy did ask for a smart everyday watch w/ leather strap.

And what's odd with having a PP on my want list and posting on a fashion forum during the weekend..?!?

FWIW with regard to what Henry mentioned, Rolex have a production run of roughly a million watches a year. But then Rolex isn't about limited editions and such. Having said that the Daytona is still one of the most sought after. Not sure why; i personally think it's a tad over-rated.

Other suggestions would perhaps be a Tag Heuer Carerra, a Breitling Navitimer or maybe something from Zenith. At a much higher level, something without complications from Breguet, A.Lange & Sohne or Vacheron Constantin. I don't like Omega's, but that's just me.

I was thinking more in terms of cost, and availability when I mentioned practicality!
