sorry mate, really dont want to be a beefmonger or a cunt, but you and hdsy (who i usually agree with most things with you both post) have come out with the biggest load of bollocks saying that than i have heard in years, and i really do think you should think seriously about what you are thinking, cos its madness…ive been clubbing every week for 20 years and never once have i ruined a garment of clothing. (bar the odd bit of chewy maybe once or twice on a pair of jeans or a top, but that could of happened anywhere).

no problem - when you ever in reading me and GG will take you to the afterdark, wear some heat and we'll see if you're still talking to us the next day.

maybe you didnt see my edit when I said i was talking about footwear and then you added rules to the thread - maybe that the confusion, cause clothing wise id wear a white tux if I was in the mood.

I wouldnt actually wear a white tux before you pull me up on that Eye-wink

put it this way, i wouldn't wear e.g. distressed dior jeans, expensive shirts & shoes etc to a dirty nightclub for fear of getting all kinds of shit all over them. i cba or afford to get things dry cleaned on the regs.

clubs = tees, raw denim and beater kicks. nicer clothes for meetings, shit wine bars that i hate but that i'm dragged into by chicks, or just everyday wear. i dont think it's a case of having "beater" clothes, standard clothes and best clothes - everyday and best are generally the same thing for me really, but you gotta have slightly harder-wearing stuff for bad weather, grotty clubs etc. imo.

hdsy was talking about clothes and only clothes and you quoted him…sorry i didnt go back on all the pages to check if youve changed your posts, and also i put in my post first in this thread 'this applies to clothes not shoes' so i apologise cos you have changed it to shoes not clothes, and now im happy. Laughing out loud(just got to keep firing bullets at hdsy now.) Eye-wink

already did, noble Sticking out tongue

some of us don't own clothes for doing gardening in and the like though, so i don't have to worry about my tops, trews and footwear being scruffy. however, i do worry about rugby cunts spilling snakey b down my white miu miu shirt, or dappy london bints standing on my NDCs in stilettos, narwotimean?

I've get the piss ripped out of me every dress down Friday. Here are some genuine responses from the engineers who also sit in the office.
Visvims: Why do your shoes have a fucking skirt around them?
Maharishi Trousers: Do you know your pants are covered in bird shit on the back?
LVCs: Are turn ups back in then?
Nike Stussys: Why on earth are you wearning pink trainers?
Jordans: Look at the chav with his brilliant white trainers.
Cap: Horrified looks from people that you have dared to wear a cap indoors.

Seriously, suits are the way foward and it means you don't have to 'waste' people seeing your clothes when not in work.

Have to agree with them on that, hate caps, outdoors, indoors, outer space…terrible imo.

I pretty much always wear raw denim and white trainers, doesn't matter where i am. Occasionaly i'll put a bit of colour on my feet and i'll put shoes on when i really have to.

I only ever really change my top half. At work all i ever wear is plain AA t-shirts in various colours, and if im going anywhere else i'll normally put a bit more thought into it.* I quite like just having a standard look.

* Not much more, mind.

Noble Locks wrote: so if you do wear them to the pub, why did you qote hdsy in agreeance (no beef)…and please lets keep this to clobber not footwear, different entitys imo cos they touch piss and shit infested floors or mud fests.

"I scoured the world for the coolestt and trendiest fashion garments made to the best spec ever known to man, fuck am i wearing them out clubbing where there is loads of birds looking at me tho, i wear them to my nans for sunday lunch and thats it."

I like to put a bit more effort and wear my nicer bits of clothing when i'm out. Why look your best walking to the post office, where no person is gonna see you. When if you have certain bits you think you look better in, save em for the ladies on a night out, where they'll actually pay attention to you.

I tend to wear the same kind of thing during the day, as when i go out, but if theres a certain t-shirt i'm liking at the mo, i wont waste it going to shops in, i'll make sure i'm toting it when i'm out having a dance. Also, i'll bust out a nice jacket on a night out too. I always laugh when i see guys trying to hard walking round uni, in their leathers, best jeans, and a crispy whites. By the time i've got to uni, i probably rolled out of bed 10minutes previously and have a beanie on

During the day sometimes when i cant be arsed and i know i'm not seeing anyone, or when i'm popping round the corner to buy some fags, i'll whack on my chilling gear, for comfort over looks. Trackies, baggy tee's, beaters.

Sorry to carry the digression on
