Stark bollock naked in my apartment [centre of tunis] trying to get as close to to the AC as possible. Yes, I haven't complained for a while but the endless heat, random giant cockroaches entering my apartment and sweating like a gyspy with a mortgage has made me look forward to returning to the UK and slipping into my canada goose for a bit.
Plus I need a haircut from someone that speaks English!

Did holiday here inverse and decided to come back cos you can stay upto six months as a tourist. Living outside a hotel somewhat different mind. Eid Mubarak was interesting with the streets a sea of red! Think I will return but change my location as found myself in district 9 territory (despite my apartment being great, I didn't research the location enough, and no matter how many cocckroaches I killed there would be another one lurking somewhere).
Pads, I would come tunis, hire a car and drive along the Coast staying in hotels. Some of the beachfront and clear water is jaw-droppingly beautiful. Best time to visit April, May, early June or September when the sea is clearest and it's not silly hot. Tunisia and Morocco the safest of the North African countries (although no where completely safe). Will post some pics when I get back.

How people can wear coat, scarf and hat today is beyond me. I'm in shorts.

Loads of furry parkas in fallowfield, I was sweating in just a tee and denims…

My brother just told me we're having the worst storms since '87 today. I've not seen any mention of it anywhere, surprised its not on the front pages of every paper.

Where you been? It's in the papers / on the news. But it's not going to be anything like as bad as 87.
