The going rate for iPhone contract development is 500-600 a day.

I had a look at joomla, its good option. We ended up going with expression engine and find it pretty good.

I don't know how to explain what I mean… In Paypal you can make buttons like "Buy now" or "Add to cart". I want that link without the image, so I can assign it to text.

Does that make sense?

Thanks man, but I'm not sure that does what I'm after.

I explained myself really badly. Once they click the link, I want it to act as if something has been "added to their cart" and take them to the Paypal page where they can pay?

Sorry if that still isn't clear Laughing out loud

think on paypal you use that 'get link' feature where you get a button, then you would just edit the code to change the button into a text link

I'm sorting out the redevelopment of my companies website. Can anyone recommend any web design companies to have a look at and get quotes from? Probably looking at a budget or around £15k and based in Nottingham if that makes a difference.

Depends on the type of hosting you need, which is dependent on the code you're writing. ASP.NET hosting will probably ste you back quite a bit, but hosts for PHP will be cheap and easy to find, like Dreamhost.

Look for a Dreamhost code (Quite easy through Google), they usually have codes floating about that'll give you a $90 discount on one of their "unlimited" packages, which usually costs $110. I did it last year and my total came to $20 for a years hosting + a free domain. After a year you can cancel or refresh at the normal price ($110).

Anybody used facebook to sell? I noticed red square clothing have a shop on their facebook page now and want to do something similar - http://apps.facebook.com/redsquare_shop/

I can't see if the app was developed for them or if they're using an off the shelp product. There seem to be a few different options but has anybody on here used them? The ones I'm looking at are ShopTab, VendorShop, Payvment

Looks like it's been custom developed. Heard good things about Payvment though. It's supposed to be easy to customize.

We got any gurus in here that can help me out? I don't know if i'm just being incredibly dim but…

Basically, I have wordpress installed on my hosting package on 1and1 with the domain I bought from them - so http://www.example1.co.uk/wordpress works sweet…

HOWEVER, I also have another domain I bought from a different company which I want to point to my wordpress directory, I've changed the nameservers and asked that it points to the /wordpress directory - and it does, but once I enter the login details it takes me to the home page of example1.co.uk.

I've noticed that when I go to the login page on my primary URL, the address bar shows http://www.example1.co.uk/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=/wordpress/

but when using the secondary URL that I have pointing to the wordpress directory it shows http://www.example2.co.uk/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=/

what the fuck am I doing!?
