Nice Spitfire. Been waiting for the Wabash to come back in stock. Frustrating it's come in just as Spring/Summer arrives.

Cheers mate.

The Wabash isn't really considered a heavy/winter shirt by Iron Heart standards so hence it arrives now. I would say it's pretty good for this time of year to wear on it's own. The one above is the CPO sample so more of a jacket than shirt.

Good to know. I thought it was pretty thick. What's the sizing like? I've only had the overdyed western shirt (12oz) from them and had to size up to an XL and still pretty snug - also long in the sleeves.

Well it's still 12oz and the Wabash is a slightly different weave to denim so it actually feels warmer than a denim shirt in the same weight. This is a XL and was a bit big when I got it but I got a bit of shrink with a hot wash. All my UHF are XL's for reference.

All IH's shirts have long sleeves which can be a bit of pain. The reason behind this is they are first a motorcycle clothing brand. The thought is that when you have your arms up riding your Harley you don't want your sleeves pulling up and letting the air in. This is also the reason the lower sleeves are tight, to stop the wind.

Makes it a bit hard sometimes to size for normal folk who just like their gear and have no intention of getting on a bike. There have been many requests over the years for the arms to be a normal length but Haraki the owner won't budge as he loves his bikes and I guess enough bikers love the gear.
