If it was Supreme x Schott would it be acceptable? If he didn't list the brands would you even have constructive criticism towards his outfit? Vans are basic slim profile sneakers that coordinate well with damn near everything…

Canvas sneakers with a high end coat look fucked

I knew they were vans before I even read the brands, you can't mistake the profile. Too casual for the coat. Knowing that the coat is Prada makes it even worse. Prada demands more respect and I'm sure it's pretty fucking amazing in-actual. Vans are mismatched for sure. Noble would be on about the weather appropriateness also. If it's cold enough to wear a shearling and beanie then how are you good to go in canvas fucking sneakers?

Looking again and actually nothing matches the coat. He looks like a wannabe Zboy who stole a prada coat at a party.

Don't even get me started on the fringe sticking out..for fucks sake

Touché

So your gripe is less about brand harmony but rather towards materials/functionality? More understandable.

Surprised to hear/read you giving props to Prada.

Canvas sneaks don't match the overall aesthetic. Prolly get away with it if they were the leather (and classic black/white) version.

Would usually agree but Vans supersede normal rules given their heritage imo

have to agree with mil on this one. I don't even like them but something like black CP achilles would have worked much better
