I do think all the seperate pieces are really nice but I don't feel they match together like that. The rolls on the jeans make your legs look short and give off a workwear vibe which I don't think matches the nikes.

I think the material and colour of the 101 are really good, just the fit isn't what I expect to get in a a trucker style jacket ( wider and shorter ).

Ha ha - he could be my BIG brother.

@toin - no offense taken mate… my wife gives me more grief than that. The rolls on the jeans do make me look like an umpa lumpa when I look at the photo. I could try and get the sleeves taken up but I am also happy with the arms as its something i have just gotten used to (like I stole someone grown up clothes)

Yeah I have had that with a couple in the past.. .this is a size 3 and fits chest wise… i couldnt get into the 2 (arms were good).

I passed on it eventually but then this dropped down to £900 in the MrP sale (down from 3k) so i said what the hell

Sounds like you need a size 2 in the Jumbo 101. Coincidentally there's one in the classifieds. —– >

Joking apart I love that jacket and was eying it up myself during that sale. I think you got in first.

Had that exact coat on today. No suede Virgils though as it was pissing down all day.

It's the Gore-Tex Frank coat. Got it from Mr Porter 80% off a good few years back - only cost £200!

Don't own a thorston but have tried them on in the past. The most recent ones are getting better sized for Europeans.

Size 2 Iris… I also have the 1st edition one thats a 2 also

Cheers! Was there a reason not to get one? Not sure if a 3 would be too small for me, as I have a ss101 in a 5, but i think that was more fitted than the iris or thorson. Is it right that the more recent iris' have got bigger? I do prefer the wider stripes on the previous versions like that.
