Laughing out loud but so true

I get it but then I just see it as basics done well and something that feels good to wear.

If Discos outfit were all Real McCoy's, orSlow, RRL, 45r, would we be saying the same thing? Other than the price tag, none of it is different as it's all just repros of 40s/50s Americana. I appreciate spice as much as the next person, but you're not going to be wearing that everyday.

At the beach yesterday. And it’s fucking pissing it down today. Scotland. Laughing out loud

Ebbets cap (not really a fan of the flat skip on this but it keeps the sun of my bald coupon).
Battenwear jacket.
Orslow light chambray shirt.
Spicy RL camp shirt.
RL Purple Label shorts.
Had Birks on my feet ‘till we got the beach.

Someone's gotta give me a breakdown on these canvas cargo shorts from visvim, I'm sure theyre amazing in hand but I can't wrap my head around how you make a lux version out of this particular item. Probably being a div and unimaginative, wanna know what makes them next level

I've literally just been looking at my pair to do just that! Laughing out loud

I'll take some pictures when I get round to it but they are essentially the eiger pants, cut as shorts, so have the same details. It may sound stupid but the thickness of the material and bits like the stitching etc just feel heftier than what you would get elsewhere. I definitely considered the RRL pair but with the cinch on the leg it felt a bit childish.

Little details like the button material, poppers on pockets etc. I can't quite put my finger on it but just feels like a more thought through piece.

Also appreciate sayword's commitment to keeping this forum lively despite catching so much negativity from people.

I was looking forward to seeing how you were gonna throw in some tech stuff with the R&R/rats stuff - byborre is such a cool brand right now as you rightly pointed out their stuff looks v different to what a lot of others are doing.

Reminds me in parts of the tech focused pieces Jun Takahashi was doing with earmuff maniac and less but better Undercover collections, which are some of my favourite ever.

I’m a fan of the vis sweats, cargos but there’s definitely something off about the silhouette disco. Nice pieces in isolation though

Hate to say it but Visvim has been poor the last decade. Was so much better pre 2010 or thereabouts

Thats the golden age for me as well. Techy vis holds a particulary warm place in my heart.
