yeah they do. We only have carpet upstairs so haven't noticed any damage. It's a fairly smooth sole though can't imagine it causing much trouble.

Yeah I found the same, they are pitched as being an outdoors shoe but really impractical on anything other than dry grass. No use in the city either as absolutely lethal on the polished flooring as found on the underground and you feel every bump on the pavement + the sole gets scuffed.

This is the one I have. The sole is Vibram so is not too bad outside, but I rarely do take them out as I don't really want to bring stuff in onto the carpet etc.
