listening to the CD reissue of Ribbon (Misato Watanabe) from '88. So fuckin perfect Jap pop music. Sooooo fuckin good. DVD has some CM shit, not bad.
Japs STILL put effort into CD releases. Blu Spec CD, properly mastered. great packaging, a thick booklet. That's the key, most Western releases of CDs are so fucking half ass now. Paper sleeve, not even a real case, no liner notes.
Have some '80s tapes of Misato too, sound better than a lot of modern CDs on my rig..
Need the big Misato CD box with everything….
