Confected Strawberry/Rasberry vibed Pet Nat. Summer quencher

How’s the new Calcarious Pent? You tried any of the others? Saw there’s one called Soul Glou and seriously hoping it’s a Coming to America reference

NV calcarius is great!! I was very surprised by the Orange especially, loads more complexity than previous vintage. The rosato is still a nice, fruity, mineral crusher. Great value summer drinking.

It is btw..

I don’t import that, just the litre bottles.

Excellent, look forward to trying some of the NV then, especially the Orange, always a crowd pleaser and as you say, great value for the price. Had everything but the Rosato in the 19 so will make sure I check it, sounds right up my street.

I’m sure Darryl will approve

I’m not sure about hype but Calcarius seems to be a popular entry point into low intervention and certainly one of the more recognisable bottles

Can anyone recommend some natural wines for me please and a website to buy them from. I want to take a couple of bottles away with me on an upcoming camping trip with friends. Cheers!

I always get mine from here:-

https://www.morenaturalwine.com

The postage is 19euros which is a little steep but they have a HUGE range. A whole section of bottles under 15 euro's, and always seem to be a couple of £ cheaper than the UK places.

I just have a look at what looks good and is reasonably priced and go from there!

Oh and they only ship on a Wednesday so you need to get your order in by Tuesday mornings I thing

Everything I've ordered from Low Intervention has been great, and it's free next day delivery over £50 so perfect if you're just getting a couple of bottles. Ordering more and it probably works out cheaper to go with Jacko's above. Link below is a lovely drop I had at the weekend:

https://lowintervention.com/collections/latest-products/products/pink-bulles

Similarly I've got an order coming from here:

https://www.vinissimus.com/

Postage was a little wild at €27-33 and quite slow (from Spain) but prices are very good so it balances out. When I ordered they had 10% off all their Calcarius range and €10 off your first order over €100, so a mix of 8 bottles came to £117 delivered for 8 bottles.

Had a few weeks off as I tried to shift 5 kilos while waiting for the new vintages to arrive, but I reclaimed a few bottles from a covid bankrupt restaurant and couldn’t resist opening this at a dinner party

Seeing as you’re camping with presumably no temperature control you’ll want something that drinks well whether it’s warm or cool.. a carbonic maceration red is ideal and I’d go straight for a gamay like this

As could this, litre bottles are also good if there are a few of you sharing
