Slave labour allegations isn’t it? Saw that a few uk stores had dropped them too

Continuing the BT theme

So her estranged father has been prosecuted for exploitation of labour on his own farm.

Zev Rovie have judged that she has therefore relied on slave money to set up her own business. They’ll sell what they have left from her but profits go to charity.

Good call or unfair cancel culture over-corrective bullshit?

Shame, that does seem quite extreme

More Brendan Tracey. I didn’t get a massive allocation this year and I’m not sad about it. The gorge seche and this have been way to syrupy for my tastes bút it does sell.

And this from a rival dealer, totally opposite style. Smells like cedar and pine straight out of the bottle, tannic with herbal notes. I’ve got a lot of love for this producer and this would probably have aged very well.

I'm in danger of sounding like a sponsored post but Low Intervention's subscription boxes for their year anniversary seem good value, I've reluctantly signed up: https://lowintervention.com/pages/natural-wine-subscription

as an existing subscriber I got a slightly different box of 4 cheaper bottles. Not complaining as its usually only 3, but would have been nice to get those three above.

Damn. I'll be gutted if I end up with something else.

Just a heads up for the thread. Wayward wines seem to have gotten a decent allocation so buy up!

Macerated reisling from weingut Brand. This producer really is one to watch.. I’ve only really seen them at wholesale from Wine under the bonnet or at P Franco who carry the Wlder Satz

I’d suggest starting by looking at all the shops that wines utb distribute to, there’s a list on their site

Me and my wife with a few other couples stayed at tillingham last night. If anyone is considering it, I would strongly recommend it. Fantastic in every aspect, food, drink and accommodation.

Just doing a recycling run and I remembered opening this too. Really good blaufrankisch, I’ve had some not-so-good ones in the past but this bangs.

No idea what these wines you are posting pics of taste like, but based solely on looks they seem good. I really like the philosophy behind these wines though

Garganuda Soave DOC. First time I’ve had a natural wine and was recommend it at a restaurant in Venice. Certainly a lot more flavour than a normal Soave, unsure if I’d order it again though - Almost a bit cidery…. supposedly this is the first natural Soave to bear the DOC badge
