A lot of people on here have benefitted from Pents knowledge and recommendations.
Had no idea about natural wine previously and now it’s all I buy.

Not sure how we’d benefit from your knowledge on importing foreigners….

This thread has certainly taught me a lot on natural wine, something which has progressed significantly since I last was truly into wine. I do understand how the likes of tasting notes sound pretentious to the uninitiated, but they are useful descriptors. Anyway, as noted by others there is a slight irony that somebody is being criticised for pretentiousness regarding this on a fashion board

It was super tropical tasting, the main note most people picked up was passion fruit. Nice difference compared to conventional NZ Sauvignon’s.

What options are there regarding natural wine for those of us who like unsubtle Shiraz and Zinfandel? I prefer flavour over deftness

Before all this dead banter took over the thread I think I wrote you a response before? Cornelissen wines etc…

I’d also recommend starting with some Carignan, “L’Oublié” by Mas Coutelou is my favourite, or something from Roc des Anges who do big, smokey Syrahs.

Beautiful, saline Chenin. I’ve upgraded to an iPhone 5 too.

The peanut isn't noticeable, but the peppers and salt certainly are.
I love a smoked porter!
