Hibiki - the bottle is nice too - although over £50

Green spot is nice - you considered maybe a bourbon instead?

A Speyside is probably what you're looking for, they tend to be sweeter with vanilla notes.

Aultmore 12, Mannochmore 12 and Benromach 10 should all fit the bill.

Balvenie 12.

As above, Speyside is what you’re after, although haven’t tried any of the others.

Strongly recommend Hibiki ! Especially the 12 year old, sadly they discontinued the 17 year old one.

Got a few cases of this in for christmas last year, and it went down a treat with everyone…

More than happy to go for it again but wondered if you'd found anything else worthy this year Pent?

Sure.. but it's good to have a steer - the main one is budget but also if you have a preferred flavour profile. You can't go wrong with the Theodora tho even if it's a bit passé to be drinking it now if you happen to be a nerd like me.

I'd put this in the 'not for everyone' category but I've also been surprised by the people it's been a hit with
