Nice local ale

Had a shot of this at the brewdog night recently. 32% beer. Pretty shit really, really syrupy.

Haven't had the Caesar Augustus yet - is it refreshing or sharp / hoppy?

I find most of the BrewDogs undrinkable beyond one pint due to the hoppiness, although I had the Zeitgeist black lager last week, that was pretty good.

Blue Moon is four bottles for £4 in Morrison's at the moment. Ideal beer for this weather.

+1 on this. Every single one of the Brew Dog beers i've tried have been over hopped. The Punk IPA being the worst offender. The 5am Saint is palatable, but still waaaaay over hopped.

I am going to call shennanigans on that one, not heard anyone say that. People I know would be all over it, first thing I got properly pissed on.

Manchester Microbrewery does cloudy wheat beer. Very tasty but very very fizzy, first attempt at pouring left a glass full of head Oops
