i have some pork steaks that i opened on weds, i have a couple left, they are best before the 11th, are they still ok to eat, even if they have been open but in the fridge since weds ?

Had some very nice lamb shanks the other day, nice winter food.

had beef wellington on friday, with pancake, and it was outstanding. no pics, because there's no way i could get away with that, but with pancake is definitely the way to go.

never understand people on here getting away with taking pics of their food in restaurants. if i did that with my girlfriend/friends theyd think i was completely fucked.

im cooking for a broad on thurs, going to do lamb steaks with raosted veg, never really done much lamb, whats the best way to cook it ? i was thinking in some olive oil with some salt and black pepper and maybe some erb's and roast it, sound ok, or any other ideas ?

like what temp and time, i was just going to do them at like 190 for 20 mins or so, should i do em on a lower temp and for longer ?

all depends what cut of lamb if its a roast low temp for a few hours if its just a little steak/chop wack under the grill 4 mins each side
