i try and slice my potatoes as thinly as poss.. in a thick dish with cream, white wine and gruyere cheese. watch it in the oven until it's proper golden crust on top.
don't think it's technically dauphinois but it's brilliant.
I'm going to make potato dauphinois, any suggestions on how it can be done best?
