You get what you pay for, looks like a shit hot cross bun, not nearly enough fruit, should have a sticky/glazed top, also wholemeal ones are nicer.

the other ones had a load of raisins but i picked that one on purpouse

+ the toaster burns the cross thing (whatever its made of) and reeks the kitchen out

asda and tesco have had a massive price war over hot cross buns, they are normally around 80p or so for 6.. they went to 37p, then 33p, then 30p now 27p for 6.. bakery manager at our place is gutted, we are practically baking them and giving them away.

having this now, spinach sauteed in wine, garlic & oil, lamb and youghurt sauce, 5 minutes to make and is seriously fucking tasty

lamb looks fine to me, i would have wilted the spinach down a bit more though.

Wanted take away but no £ and trying to be healthier-failed.

Chicken and mushroom pie, black pudding (saw it in the fridge, thought it would even out the creamyness of the pie-it did!) and peas.

Presentation is not my strong point.
