We got one of these reently. Did a whole chicken in it so far which turned out nice. I'm going to do some sort of casserole soon.
Had lasagne and home made garlic bread today. Need to invest in a garlic crusher so I don't need to use tube garlic which doesn't taste of much.

when i do a stew/casserole in it i put marmite,tommy k , hp an oxo one of those beef casserole sachets etc do a pint of water and 7 hours and zonk its beautiful.

Slow cooking's all about the red meat surely?
@ £3.50 chippys on the previous page, gotta be dubious with the "fish" used in that.
bought a slow cooker today, got a stew going on right now, what can i use to thicken it up?
