Anchor & Hope , The Cut (nr Waterloo)- doesn't take bookings but can get busy

Might have to give it a look as I'll be around waterloo later on in the day

if near liverpool st, drunken monkey gives best bang for buck

Was marinated in honey overnight…. Will bear that in mind in future
Black bits were the best though, sweet and crispy

Cheers Cov… fucking love slaw, so easy to just grate everything (this one was betroot, celeriac, cabbage, red onion, sultanas, pine nuts) and drench in lime juice/zest
add cream or mayo if you want to dirty it up… wedges were perfect…. par boiled the potatoes then shallow fried them with spices…. fluffy in the middle, crispy/spicy/smokey outer… amazing!
