McD's here is horrible, if you want cheap burgers A&W, Wendys or Harveys are way better.
But having said that nearly every (rib/steak) restaurant does a pretty decent burger for about $10 including fries.

Whereabouts in Canada do you live nick? The was a burger chain in Toronto called hero burger which was one of the best burger places I have ever been to. Fat burger in Vancouver was ace too.

I do this too Laughing out loud italian macds is utter shit. spain good, hungary decent, sweden excellent. Don't remember the german one

in and out burger is the best by a country mile

I live in Toronto, there are still Hero burger places, I've not tried them yet because as I said you can get a decent burger in almost any restaurant or pub/bar.

McD's in UK is pants now Sad

Used to be so nice when £2.88 and the McChicken came in the yellow box.

Your now better off buying the 99p chicken mayo rather than the McChicken.

Roast Chicken with lemon, garlic and rosemary, roast spuds, garlic mushrooms, carrots with orange. Cooked by my girlfriend. Was pretty amazing to be fair.
