Yes you can. Its never as good, but its still nice. (I'm comparing home cooked indian food to Tesco Finest micro meals)

my ex bird (love hurts) come from a massive indian family, even a shop bought dahl tastes nothing like her nan's food. I think when they try and preserve it it goes tits up

MAC^ made some relish (tomatoes, onions, aubergine a bit of cider vinegar cooked for a couple of hours). pics don't do it justice
