bullshit. why doesn' t the summer run off do that every year?
Probably because all of the ice doesnt melt each year?
Doesn't really matter if you believe we are coming out of an ice age, and / or human influence is making that ice age recession faster or not, the smallest size of the nothern ice cap / glaciers is getting smaller, hence more total CO2 and water is in the "sea".
THe earth has been through this cycle loads of times, most of europe and the UK used to be under the ice sheet in winter during the last ice age / we were connected to france by a land bridge, so we are currently going the other way with more total volume of sea water in the sea rather than stored in the north pole ice sheet. Which basically holds 70% of all the fresh water on earth currently when frozen (according to frozen planet a couple of weeks ago)
Not a process we can really stop without distrupting modern life, so we will jsut have to get used to the rising sea levels and different climate conditions.

Bangladesh does flood every year because it's a delta of three massive rivers. But I'm talking about land ice melt over countries such as Greenland that cause sea level rise you dumb fuck.
Land ice melt in northern regions could submerge countries like Bangladesh entirely.
