I feel you on that. I've pretty much bought everything I want on the street side of things, nearly completed my supreme collection, and I don't really wear sneaks anymore. I've always tried to by pieces that I can wear forever aswell. I'm slowly tenderizing my entire wardrobe as well but seeing that japan is being gay as hell with shipping to the US, my options are looking pretty bleak.
maybe it's a sign to stop buying clothes as I only want to wear tenderloins….

Thanks sayword, that's exactly the sort of thing I've been going for, street/work wear. I've never felt entirely comfortable in full on streetwear and I'm getting a bit old for it anyway. I love the durability of the workwear stuff and I want my clothes to last a long time so it makes sense to me. I want to gardually start to mix in some more of the workwear inspired stuff, I've got some EG pieces that are being intergrated and a Post Overalls cruiser that I picked up a year (or 2?) ago that's just been sat in my wardrobe which might work its way back into rotation. I still want to build up the Tenderloin collection, I'm almost done with the UK stockists, so I'll be on yahoo auctions soon. As for the jeans, they've softened perfectly, I can't wait for them to start fading, but it's going to take time- I'm going to hammer them this winter though…

I tried to buy those leopard print converses. My girlfriend was with me, and she thought I was joking and trying to wind her up. I then had to feign this, and sometimes when trainers come up in conversation she says "Do you remember the time you almost fooled me into thinking you were actually going to wear those converses?" and I say yes and a little part of me dies inside.
Fuck you internet, for making me think leopard print was acceptable on guys clothing.
Oh and Dave how did you get a pair that fit? They were quite tight on me when I tried them on and I swear you're a uk9?

Thanks sayword, that's exactly the sort of thing I've been going for, street/work wear. I've never felt entirely comfortable in full on streetwear and I'm getting a bit old for it anyway.
