Any (further) opinions on these?:

- Samsung U600 @ £0
- Sony Ericsson K810i @ £0
- Nokia N73 @ £0
- LG Prada @ £89.99
- Nokia N95 @ £129.99

These are the ones on offer basically, currently have an N80, so would like to get the N95 but I'm not sure it justifies the price tag.

I'm in a similar position (no homo) and need to choose between these 3, any opinions?

Sony Ericsson k800i
Sony Ericsson k810i
Sony Ericsson p990i

K810i I'd say. Although the K850i has been announced if you wanted to wait a bit.

The P990i is a smartphone but although good has had a fair few problems. there is however a P1 announced which is out v soon which may be worth you looking at if you want a business smartphone.

cheers mate, that's what I'm leaning towards. is the k850i likely to be free with monthly contracts? and has the release date be announced yet?

depends on your spending but the K800 was free or almost when it was released so I'd expect similar.

As for release I'm not sure. would guess a couple of months but only going on past SE announcements and releases. If I find out anything I'll post it here.

what do you mean by goes wrong a lot?

my k750i has recently taken to randomly not making a noise when the alarm rings, just vibrating and flashing. which is fine in a dark room when it's close by your bed, but shite when it's light in the morning

well Laughing out loud and here we go.

last week it just decided to turn itself off when it felt like it. which was ok….but when I turned it off properly - it turned itself back on again after 10 mins or so. and then it turned itself off again. and then on again. and repeat.

also it seems to have a stroke sometimes and the left side buttons dont work so you have to be clever when texting, replacing "A" in words for "4" as that was on the other side of the phone etc

its a bit like driving an old car cause you get used to it and know how to work it. at the moment its fine though - would you like to buy it?
