no point ringing up 3 times… they make notes on your account each and every time you ring them

i finished with three about 3 months ago and they were desperate to keep me, constantly ringing me, eventually offered me my line rental cut to a third of what i had been paying, so networks do still offer good deals

like i said i used to be in the bidniss, so i do know what they do…but its about the person sometimes, if your saying they can offer a deal to keep me, then why should i stop trying?? make your mind up Puzzled

and your talking about 3, they would let you go round and fuck they wife and then get her to make you dinner to keep you. Laughing out loud

you used to be in the business but don't know how to play the game tho Noble Eye-wink … at the moment they can see you're wanting a new phone as you've rang them 3 times today already and by looking back at your previous history they probably expect you to give in and just pay full whack. plus it sounds like you are currently on an excellent tariff for your needs so why grumble?? otherwise, it's time to shop elsewhere

i dont want to pay a thousand pound for a new fone, cos i actually know how much they retail at, and thats why im fucking grumbling.
no customer loyalty whatsoever, in fact they are trying to make more money out of me than the fone actually costs for being loyal, not helping me out in any way whatsoever.
and ive NEVER paid them full whack before, and this is the first EVER time they have asked for it.
and course ive rung three times today, not cos im desperate, cos im actually voting with my feet anyway, so i dont give a fuck how i look to them, just made up my mind to try three times first.

dont teach your granny to suck eggs please, cos im mad as hell as it is without you winding me up as well. Smiling

oh and p.s, guess what, the cunts aint even got any in even if i did want to pay up, they are totally out of stock with no due date for anymore. Evil

wait three months and then start the haggling over paying the £300 or whatever it was then? why are you wanting to 'upgrade' three months before your contract is up to the same phone anyways Puzzled does the new 18 months get added to the 3 already left(worth £225 to them)? making it a huge 21 month contract then?

just accept that you are on a high priced tariff but you are getting £500 or something of calling credit so…. if you don't need £500 of credit, change to a lower tariff or diff network. but you'll surely end up paying top whack for another one of those nokias.

cant change your tariff untill the 17th month…..also they let you upgrade on the 15th month but not at the top discounted price, which i dont mind at all, but charging me more than i can get one for anywhere else sim free is a major piss take and is making me hate them.
my 500 quids worth of calls and texts for 75 gibs aint that blindingly special by the way either, now ive actually looked around, so i cant even get solace out of the fact im robbing them blind with my price plan. (and anyone can get it still now if they want)
and my fone is 15 months old and i use it every day, what sort of state do you think its in (its fucked), course i want/need a new one.
the contracts were ALWAYS 12 months till recently, now they just changed them all to 18 months to get out of giving away discounted fones so much.
and like ive said previously, it isnt really three months early, its three months late, going on how its always been before.
they changed the rules, not me, i wouldnt of done it had i known when i changed to this tariff.

im just going to go into phones4u or carphone warehouse and just change it all over to another network and get the cheap phone i deserve, they are the only people hungry for your custom, not the actual networks.

O2 3000 + Unlimited texts
18 months £75.00 per month
3000 Anytime
Any Network Unlimited
Cost of Nokia Carbon Arte Gold £354.99

that will do me nicely. aurevoir mercury one2one. good riddance.

Also having no luck getting an Arte for a reasonable price. Not a new model anymore so I don't understand the pricing.

I use an Incase Slider, really snug fit on the phone, looks alright and fits in the pocket well. Dropped it a few times and seems to protect it well.

I finally got an iphone 3 weeks ago, I bought the "dragons den" featured d30 iband for the impact protection, just covers the outer edge, soft material which then goes rigid on impact.

^Some design flaws with that -

quotes -

"There is no hole for the mute button/slider! This means that I had to remove the iband every time I wanted to switch the iphone to silent/mute mode! For me, this makes the product pretty useless. (If the designers/manufacturers were to add a mute slider hole, this could be a great product)"

"High hopes - dashed by poor product. Unable to turn phone on/off when fitted. You could do a better job of protecting your ipoine with a bicycle inner tube. Complete and utter waste of money. I wasted mine, so you don't have to!
Now buying an alternative…."
