I have to say that Ive definatly been seduced by the iphone , price depandant of course I think I will get one .

My N80 has been nothing but a steaming pile of shite since day 1

just got a K810i, looks nice and all that, but more or less the same spec as my previous k800i.

Problems:

- people are saying they can hardly hear me, but i can't find any setting to change

- I have all my contacts imported, which work fine dialing out, but when I'm receiving a call it is saying unknown even if they are in my contacts

Any ideas people? I actually did the 'right' thing this time by using the new sim they sent (usually I just stick my old one in if there's been no functional change, like 3G etc.) but one odd thing was that I turned on my old phone and the sim hadn't been deactivated yet, so for a few minutes I had both phones working on the same number

just ordered a Nokia 6300 from phones4u - free line rental and phone after cash rebate. Every review suggests good things, will let u know how it is when i get it.

I've just got a 6300 sent out to me too, it will do for 12 months. Lightweight, free of charge and its made of stainless steel. Thought about the luna but it has the same battery life as my 8800 which is shit.

cash back isnt it, you get back the line rental as a cheque at the end of the year but any excess on your allowance you ed up paying. ive been told that they make money out of this because they have your money upfront, they invest, make a profit and then can give you back the line rental which they agree to pay you back and theyve made money on whatever they invested in (well thats how ive been told how it works).

no idea, i think everyone remembers 3 doing something like this when they first came about and thats how i heard how it supposedly works.

i think they only give out crappy phones because the line rental includes enough for them to make a profit on the phone even though its being given away free.

edit: i think e2 save do something similar but theyre a 3rd party to networks and would probably be more hassle to deal with as opposed to if you were on a network directly.
