Don't like the stitching on them, blues look better, but yeah only difference from what they're peddling in japan is the made for m+s label. Probably better off buying straight from them though considering the price.

Has anyone on here done a DIY job and 'margiela'd' up their converse? I've got a pair of blue and yellow 70s that I don't really wear anymore and I was thinking of giving them a go over with some paint. Anyone done it?

QUESTION…. Margiela or OL runners?

I prefer the overall look of Margiela but OL are Vibram sole. Can see those Margiela soles not lasting.

I'd give OL runners a go, I've not tried margiela runners but I've been disappointed with how long GATs last, especially at the heel.

I've had the Margielas a while now and love them. Well comfier than gats and shape on foot is great.

Do like the look of the OL's too so if you go for them post in here what they're like.

On the subject of GATs (sort of), does anyone know if there's anywhere you can get the Adidas GAT-a-likes that were on sale everywhere a couple of years ago? I've got a pair of the highs on now and they're looking worse for wear at best and they're the best GATs around in my opinion, so I'd love to replace them with the highs or the lows.

Adidas Resplit they were called.
