Complete waste of time, I’ve entered that many raffles on numerous sites for tons of different releases. Some for shoes I wasn’t even fussed about. Haven’t won a single raffle

I have won 2 raffles and entered so many. I have actually stopped now. Was just winding me up.

Another note,

I fancy a pair of slip on vans for the summer. Is there any alternates that are more premium materials/comfort?

Common Projects slip ons are great. The new suede ones look really nice, I’d have some but just can’t get on with no laces sadly.

Edit: I know they are nice as I’ve had them in the past

Won probably 3, plus some luck on Sneakers every now and then, out of hundreds entered…

I get upset only when it's something I actually want for myself, which luckily these days is no longer that much…when I enter just for some potential extra $$$ I take it philosophically now

Diemme do a version of the vans slip on too, there’s a few different colours reduced on yoox at the moment. I’ve not had these but diemme materials are usually nice, use a lot of Steads stuff I think.

go for the Anaheim range from Vans. Comfier insole and heavier canvas upper, basically their version of 70s cons

Won once but I'm not sure the BRED's count as it seems that the run was larger than usual.

Ah amazing. Didn't know this range existed.

Traditional Vans always end up merking my feet.

Nice them! I've always had a soft spot for Killshots

Are the regular navy ones or the new burgundy one usually available in UK stores?

Check out the Vans Vault line, better materials and construction and last alot longer.

I think the vault line is more premium than the Anaheim collection? Just judging by distribution/availability

I swear the only difference is that vault has a black line on the midsole and Anaheim doesn’t

I think the Vault range are better materials and hip collabs but don't have the modernised lining that the Anaheim has.

Vault is the premium line, with higher quality materials, but also the platform for collaborations, and sometimes shoes are released in their OG form, which is more the focus of the Anaheim line (OG details with sometimes a techy twist as the comfy cush). Vaults come without foxing

* As Illwill says
