What's a more orthopedically approved alternative to those egret 70's cons? The lack of arch support and slightly awkward fit bothers me on a long days walking.

Not 100% on the shape of these as they're slightly lower profile than 70s but they use a Nike insole so should be more practical. Might look better IRL.

Can't comment on the comfort of Moonstars but they're pretty fugly.

How’s everyone got on with the Sacai sizing? I’ve read it’s a size down half job is that right?

This.

Never understood why Converse haven't done anything to improve the comfort on the 70s version. At least add lunarlon sole like they did on non-70s CTAS.

Definitely not. Size UP 0.5 possibly, if you have even slightly broad feet. Personally went TTS but wondering if the half up would have been a better option for me.

Are they any wider? Or is the shape the same.

Doesn't seem like they've ever done a solid off-white pro shoe.

You can buy replacement Lunarlon insoles especially for Cons but I'm not sure they would fit perfectly in a 70.

Might be able to modify them.

Mine turn up tomorrow so hope I’ve not dropped a bollock sizing down half. On a side note the price for these is already dropping, looking at closer to £250 ish now

Instagram influencers been pushing those salamons hard. I don't see the appeal.

These are 10+ year old non-lairy GoreTex ones worn strictly for when clambering up muddy stuff (and microlighting), not the hipster ones (I only wear those for cycling).
